About ILS Law College, Pune

ILS Law College, run by the Indian Law Society, is one of the oldest and most respected law colleges in Pune. It is located on Law College Road and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Its alumni include judges, senior advocates and public leaders, which is a big reason it stays a top choice for law aspirants in Maharashtra.

The college offers the 3-year LLB, the 5-year integrated BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes, and postgraduate LLM options. Because demand is high and seats are limited, many students and parents look at the management quota route alongside the regular CET-based process.

ILS Pune Management Quota: What It Means

Management quota (also called institutional quota) is a small share of seats a college may fill outside the centralised CAP process, following the rules set by the state and the Bar Council of India. Admission under this route is still subject to eligibility, documentation and seat availability. It does not replace the need to meet the minimum qualification.

Who usually considers this route?

  • Students who have the marks but missed a good CET Law rank.
  • Students who want to secure a seat early and avoid the uncertainty of multiple CAP rounds.
  • NRI and other eligible candidates who apply under special categories.
